Data request

Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The public site collects no personal data through forms today (standard server access logs aside), and there is no active WhatsApp or lead-capture channel — but these rights apply to any data you have shared with DegreeProof on any channel.

Request type

Submission is disabled until the secure request channel ships — a data request must never be silently dropped. Until then, email the Grievance Officer (written response within 15 days).

Data Request Process

This page explains how you may raise a request relating to personal data processed by DegreeProof, operated by Karm International Private Limited.

At Gate-1, DegreeProof does not operate lead forms, WhatsApp links, CRM capture, analytics or advertising pixels, callback forms, public phone CTAs, or business-initiated communication. No personal data is collected through website forms at Gate-1.

DegreeProof may process limited server access logs for website security, abuse prevention, and technical operation. We may also process information that you voluntarily send to us by email, grievance request, or data request.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data processed about you. You may also raise a grievance concerning data processing.

Please include:

  1. Your full name;
  2. The email address or contact detail used in your previous communication, if any;
  3. The type of request — access, correction, erasure, withdrawal, or grievance;
  4. A brief description of the request;
  5. Any information reasonably required to identify the relevant record.

We may request additional information only where reasonably necessary to verify the request or locate the relevant record.

We will acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and endeavour to provide a written response within 15 days, subject to applicable law and the nature of the request.
